Strategic analysis of the company Linea Nivnice, a.s.

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnocení akciové společnosti Linea Nivnice, na základě získaných poznatků z analýz, a z toho vyplývající strategická doporučení pro zlepšení výsledků podniku. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní metody strategické analýzy. Dále pak v praktické části budou tyto metody aplikovány a výsledkem jednotlivých analýz budou faktory, jež působí na společnost pozitivně či negativně. Uvedenými metodami jsou PESTLE analýza, charakteristika odvětví, analýza konkurence, Porterův model pěti sil, VRIO analýza, finanční ukazatelé, hodnototvorný řetězec, portfolio analýza. Shrnutím těchto metod je SWOT analýza, jejíž podstatou je souhrn těch nejpodstatnějších příležitostí, hrozeb, silných a slabých stránek podniku. Závěr práce se věnuje celkovému zhodnocení společnosti na základě zjištěných poznatků a s nimi spojené doporučení pro případné zlepšení strategického fungování společnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the company Linea Nivnice, a. s. on the basis of knowledge gained from analyses and the resulting strategic recommendations for improving the company's results. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part explains the basic methods of strategic analysis. Thereafter, in the practical part, these methods will be applied and the results of individual analyses will provide factors that affect the company positively or negatively. The mentioned methods are PESTLE analysis, industry characteristics, competition analysis, Porter's model of five forces, VRIO analysis, financial indicators, value chain, and portfolio analysis. The summary of these methods is a SWOT analysis, the essence of which is a summary of the most important opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses of the company. The conclusion of the thesis deals with the overall evaluation of the company on the basis of these findings and the associated recommendations for possible improvement of the strategic functioning of the company.
