Dynamic elements in teaching mathematics

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zkvalitnění výuky matematiky, konkrétně geometrie, na základní škole. Cílem práce je popularizace výuky geometrie pomocí dynamických prvků. Prvním krokem k jeho dosažení byla tvorba výukových videí na podporu tematického celku Středová souměrnost. Výuková videa byla vytvořena pomocí vhodného dynamického softwaru. Druhým krokem bylo vytvoření testů, které měly zjistit úroveň dosavadních vědomostí žáků účastnících se experimentu. Následně byla vytvořená výuková videa nasazena do výuky. Po odučení daného tematického celku žáci napsali posttest, na základě kterého došlo k vyhodnocení experimentu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on improving the teaching mathematics, namely geometry, at elementary school. The aim of the thesis is to popularize the teaching of geometry using dynamic elements. The first step towards its achievement was the creation of video tutorials to support the thematic center "Central symmetry". Tutorials were created using the appropriate dynamic software. The second step was to create tests to determine the level of knowledge of the pupils involved in the experiment. Subsequently, the created video tutorials were put into the classroom. After completing a thematic unit, pupils wrote a posttest based on which the experiment was evaluated.
