Industry analysis - active and domestic tourism in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Práce je věnována analýze a popisu odvětví cestovního ruchu v ČR a zkoumání odlišností jednotlivých regionů ČR podle zvolených ukazatelů. V práci je charakterizován význam odvětví cestovního ruchu a je vymezena typologie cestovního ruchu. Pozornost je věnována sociálně - ekonomickým dopadům cestovního ruchu v ČR a působení multiplikačního efektu a senzitivity spojené s odvětvím cestovního ruchu. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována analýze odvětví cestovního ruchu pomocí Porterova modelu pěti sil, současně jsou analyzovány jednotlivé kraje ČR na základě vybraných ukazatelů cestovního ruchu. Za účelem zjištění regionálního rozložení cestovního ruchu v ČR byla provedena komparace těchto ukazatelů. Práce zachycuje vývoj cestovního ruchu v ČR, popisuje nástroje podpory v oblasti cestovního ruchu a snaží se zachytit trendy aktivního a domácího cestovního ruchu v ČR. Hlavním cílem této práce je analýza a popis odvětví cestovního ruchu v ČR po roce 2003, zkoumání odlišností jednotlivých regionů ČR podle zvolených ukazatelů.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on description and analysis of the tourism industry in the Czech Republic and examination differences individual regions according to selected indicators. This thesis presents the importance of the tourism industry and describes a typology of tourism. Attention is devoted socio - economic impacts of tourism in the Czech Republic and multiplier effect and sensitivity associated with the tourism industry. Special attention is devoted analysis of the tourism using Porter?s five forces model. At the same time are analyzed individual regions in the Czech Republic on the basis of selected indicators. In order to determine the regional distribution of tourism in the Czech Republic was the comparison of these indicators. This thesis describes tourism development, support tools in tourism and describes trends aktive and domestic tourism in the Czech Republic. Main target of this thesis is analysis and description of the tourism industry in the Czech Republic after 2003, examination differences individual regions according to selected indicators.
