Abstract:
Diplomová práce pojednává o dějinách brněnské věznice na Cejlu č. 71 v období od jejího založení v roce 1772 do roku 1949. Tato věznice stála vždy ve stínu slavné věznice na hradě Špilberk, ale přesto jsou její osudy zajímavé. Ve věznici pobývaly významné osobnosti jako Petr Bezruč nebo Radola Gajda. Abstract:
The master thesis deals with history of Brno’s prison in Cejl Street in no. 71 during the period of 1722, the year of founding of the prison, and 1949. The prison has always been put in the shade by the famous prison in Špilberk Castle; still its history is remarkable.
