The aim of this bachelor thesis was to create a nursing process in the care of a patient with hypertension. The bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce bolo vytvorenie ošetrovateľského procesu v starostlivosti o pacienta s hypertenziou. Bakalársku prácu tvorí časť teoretická a časť praktická. Teoretická časť práce je rozdelená na dve kapitoly. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na definíciu hypertenzie, jej klasifikáciu, etiopatogenézu, klinický obraz, diagnostiku, liečbu a komplikácie.
