Recruitment and Selection of Workers for the Position of Social Worker in a Selected Organization

Abstract:

Předmětem mé bakalářské práce jsou personální činnosti získávání a výběr pracovníků. Zaměřuji se na získávání a výběr sociálních pracovníků ve Farní charitě Litoměřice. Cílem práce je návrh opatření vedoucích k optimalizaci a inovaci procesu získávání a výběru pracovníků na pozici sociální pracovník/pracovnice ve vybrané organizaci v sociální sféře na základě analýzy současného stavu realizace těchto procesů v organizaci a požadavků kladených pracovním místem. Současný stav realizace personálních procesů jsem v organizaci analyzovala pomocí metody rozhovorů. V několika oblastech realizace vybraných personálních procesů v organizaci na základě teoretických znalostí z odborné literatury spatřuji silné stránky a pozitiva, avšak zároveň považuji některé oblasti za neefektivní, nepříliš vhodné či nedostatečné. A v těchto oblastech, ale i v některých dostačujících navrhuji organizaci několik opatření. Na základě odborné literatury navrhuji opatření v oblasti analýzy pracovního místa, zdrojů získávání sociálních pracovníků, dokumentů požadovaných od uchazečů, metod získávání a výběru sociálních pracovníků a přijímacího pohovoru.

Abstract:

The personnel activities of recruitment and selection of workers are the topic of my bachelor thesis. I focus on recruitment and selection of social workers in Farní charita Litoměřice. The aim of the work is to propose measures leading to optimization and innovation of the process of recruitment and selection of workers for the position of social worker in a selected organization in the social sphere based on analysis of the current state of implementation of these processes in the organization and job requirements. I analyzed the current state of implementation of personnel processes in the organization using the method of interviews. Based on theoretical knowledge from the literature I see strengths and positives in several areas of implementation of selected personnel processes in the organization but at the same time I consider some areas to be ineffective, not very suitable or insufficient. And in these areas but also in some sufficient ones I propose to the organization several measures. Based on the professional literature I propose measures in the field of job analysis, sources of recruitment of social workers, documents required from applicants, methods of recruitment and selection of social workers and job interview.
