The diploma thesis deals with the development of an educational platform as support of teaching English online. The theoretical part introduces the author´s approach to online teaching and its specificity. Afterwards, it describes the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) which serves, along with the English Profile programme, as the core of the Anaga platform.
