Burntout syndrome and its prevention in management practice

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o problematice syndromu vyhoření v manažerské praxi, jež je v dnešní době velmi aktuální problém. V teoretické části jsou pomocí literárních zdrojů objasněny pojmy související s daným tématem, diagnostika, léčba a následně je uveden návrh preventivních opatření. Praktická část je věnována výzkumu, kterého se zúčastnilo čtyřicet manažerů. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit míru vyhoření dotazovaných manažerů a uvést problematiku syndromu vyhoření do širšího povědomí. Výsledky jsou vyhodnoceny na základě dotazníkového šetření, pro které byla zvolena metoda Burnout Measure a vlastního doplňkového rozhovoru.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of burnout syndrome in managerial practice, which is a very current problem today. In the theoretical part, the concepts related to the topic, diagnosis, treatment are clarified with the help of literary sources, and then a proposal of preventive measures is given. The practical part is devoted to research, in which forty managers took part. The main goal of the thesis is to find out the burnout rate of the interviewed managers and to raise public awareness about the issue od burnout syndrome. The results are evaluated on the basis of a questionnaire survey, for which the Burnout Measure method and its own supplementary interview were chosen.
