Implementation of critical thinking principles into the curriculum of primary school at the example of an integrated thematic unit

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá metodami kritického myšlení, integrovanou tematickou výukou a jejich využitím na 1. stupni základní školy. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V první části je popsán vývoj dítěte mladšího školního věku z pohledu psychologie. Dále se věnujeme kritickému myšlení a integrované tematické výuce. Na závěr první části představujeme také město Kadaň, které je tématem integrovaného tematického celku. V praktické části popisujeme průběh integrovaného tematického celku, který jsme realizovali ve 4. ročníku ZŠ a uvádíme vypracované přípravy. Funkčnost navrženého tematického celku potvrzujeme pomocí uvedených výsledků výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with methods of critical thinking, integrated learning and using them for the first grade of elementary school. The work is divided into theoretical and practical. The first part describes the development of a child under school age from the perspective of psychology. We also describe critical thinking and integrated teaching. At the end of the first part also introduces the town of Kadaň, which is the subject of an integrated thematic unit. The practical part describes the progress of integrated thematic unit, which we realized in the fourth year of primary school and we introduce. The functionality of the proposed theme confirms these results through research
