Corporate Philantropy as Part of the FONERGY Social Responsibility

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je návrh vhodných filantropických projektů a komunikační strategie pro společnost FONERGY, která je dodavatelem elektřiny a plynu v regionu Slovácko. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy, jako je společenská odpovědnost firem, firemní filantropie a podnikatelská etika. V praktické části jsou provedeny tři průzkumy, dva jsou zaměřené na komunikaci společenské odpovědnosti a firemní filantropie firem v oblasti energetiky a firem podnikajících v regionu Slovácko. Třetím průzkumem jsou polostrukturované rozhovory s obyvateli regionu, na základě kterých byly vybrány cílové skupiny podpory, pro které jsou v projektové části navrženy konkrétní filantropické aktivi-ty.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to propose proper philanthropic projects including communication strategy for the FONERGY, gas and electricity supplier from the Moravian Slovakia re-gion. In the theoretical part, there are basic terms such as corporate social responsibility, corporate philanthropy and business ethics defined. In the practical part, there are three marketing researches analyzed, of which two were focused on the social responsibility and corporate philanthropy communication of the energy suppliers and companies based in the Moravian Slovakia region. The third research consists of semi-structured interviews with inhabitants of the region. On the basis of the interviews target groups of support and spe-cific philanthropic activities were chosen and proposed in the project part of the thesis.
