Role of applied methods of teaching reading in the process of building the reading skills of pupils of the 1st grade of elementary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Role užité metody výuky čtení v procesu budování čtenářských dovedností žáků 1. stupně ZŠ se zabývá aktuálním didaktickým tématem, a to výběrem vhodné metody výuky čtení a jejím vlivem na porozumění textu. Práce má za úkol přiblížit toto téma ve dvou částech - teoreticky a prakticky. Teoretická část se pokusí přiblížit související pojmy. Patří mezi ně gramotnost s hlavním zaměřením na gramotnost čtenářskou, kurikulum vzdělávání v České republice, kde je zdůrazněna především oblast jazyková. Nesmí chybět mezinárodní výzkum PIRLS zabývající se porozuměním čtenému textu nejen u českých žáků a dvě nejvýznamnější metody výuky čtení. Empirická část poté přiblíží studentský výzkum, který porovnával metodu analyticko-syntetickou a metodu genetickou prakticky. Zaměřoval se na správnost porozumění textu a sledoval i další měřitelné údaje, kterými jsou chybovost, množství sebekorekcí, vliv očních pohybů a dobu čtení.

Abstract:

The thesis entitled Role of applied methods of teaching reading in the process of building the reading skills of pupils of the 1st grade of elementary school deals with the the current didactic topic - selection appropriate method of teaching reading and its influence on comprehension. This thesis tries to describe it in two ways - theory and practice. The theoretical part defines main terms that are literacy, put emphasis on reading literacy, curriculum education in the Czech Republic focus on Czech language part. There not to miss international research called PIRLS concentrated on pupil's reading comprehension and two major methods of teaching reading. Empirical part was based on student 's research, which compared the method of teaching reading - analytic-synthetic and genetic method. This part is focused on comprehension and watched other measurable data which are errors and their self-correction, the influence of eye movements and reading time.
