Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o počáteční etapě výuky anglického jazyka na 1. stupni základní školy. Je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. První část se zabývá didaktikou a výukou cizích jazyků a podrobněji popisuje Standardy pro základní vzdělávání, Rámcově vzdělávací program pro základní vzdělávání a Společný evropský referenční rámec pro jazyky. Dále se tato část mé práce soustředí na principy a zásady výuky anglického jazyka, efektivní a účinné činnosti a aktivity se zaměřením na jazykové dovednosti: poslech, mluvený projev, čtení a psaní. V závěru teoretické části popisuji výukové metody, charakteristiku metody CLIL a projevy specifických poruch učení ? dyslexie a dysortografie, které se vztahují k výzkumu. Praktická část se zaměřuje na důležitost efektivního přístupu v počáteční etapě výuky anglického jazyka na 1. stupni základní školy. Tato část popisuje využití metody CLIL pro rozvoj jazykových dovedností žáků. Kvalitativní výzkum probíhal na malotřídní škole, se dvěma žáky 5. ročníku se specifickými poruchami učení. Cílem praktické části je zjištění, zda je právě metoda CLIL vyhovující a přínosná, a zda formou integrace cizího jazyka do nejazykového předmětu mohu těmto žákům výuku anglického jazyka ulehčit a zároveň zpestřit.

Abstract:

This thesis discusses an early stage of the English language classes at the primary school. It is divided into two parts ? theoretical and practical. The first part contains the didactics and teaching of the foreign languages. It describes in detail the ?Standards for Basic Education?, the ?General Educational Programme for Basic Education? and the ?Common European Framework of Reference for Languages?. Furthermore this part of my work focuses on the principles and rules of English language teaching, effective and efficient operations and activities focused on language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The end of the theoretical part describes the teaching methods, the characteristics of CLIL method and symptoms of specific learning disabilities ? Dyslexia and Dysortography, that are related to research. The practical part focuses on the importance of the effective approach in the initial stage of learning English at primary school. This section describes the usage of CLIL method for the development of language skills of students. The qualitative research took place at the small school with two pupils of the fifth class with the specific learning disabilities. The aim of the practical part is to determine, whether the CLIL method was satisfactory and beneficial, and if the integration of the foreign language to non-language classes can make the English learning easier and more interesting.
