Aspects of the work of a private midwife

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na Aspekty práce soukromé porodní asistentky. Hlavním cílem práce bylo popsat aspekty práce soukromé porodní asistentky. Bylo stanoveno také pět dílčích cílů. Teoretická část se skládá ze základních informací o porodní asistence např. mezinárodní definicí, historií, kompetencemi. Také je v teoretické části poukázáno na styl péče ve třech vybraných zemích. Obsahuje kapitolu "Zahájení vlastní praxe", kde je postup činností, který porodní asistentka musí vykonat, před zahájení praxe v komunitním prostředí. V empirické části bylo zvoleno kvalitativní průzkumné šetření, při kterém dochází ke sběru a analýze dat, které jsou získány metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Bylo stanoveno pět dílčích cílů. Polostrukturovaný rozhovor se skládá ze dvou částí, první část se zabývá představením respondentky, pro druhou část byly vytvořené výzkumné otázky, kterých je celkem deset. Rozhovory jsou v empirické části zapsány kurzívou a pro přehlednost rozhovoru je analýza výsledku znázorněna pomocí tabulky. Průzkumné šetření popsalo aspekty práce soukromé porodní asistentky. V závěru práce byl předem stanovený hlavní cíl a dílčí cíle splněny.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is focused on aspects of the work of a private midwife. The main goal of the work was to describe aspects of the work of a private midwife. Five sub-goals were also set. The theoretical part consists of basic informations about midwifery, e.g. international definitions, history, competences. The theoretical part also points to the style of care in three selected countries. It includes a chapter on 'Starting your own practice', where there is a sequence of activities that a midwife must undertake before starting practice in a community setting. In the empirical part, a qualitative exploratory investigation was chosen, during which data is collected and analyzed, which are obtained by the semi-structured interview method. Five sub-goals were set. The semi-structured interview consists of two parts, the first part deals with the introduction of the respondent, for the second part, ten research questions were created. The interviews are written in italics in the empirical part, and for the clarity of the interview, the analysis of the result is shown using a table. An exploratory survey described aspects of the work of a private midwife. At the end of the work, the predetermined main goal and sub-goals were fulfilled.
