Impaired communication ability of the kindergarten children and first year primary school pupils from the perspektive of teachers in Karlovy Vary Region

Abstract:

Obsah diplomové práce je věnován narušené komunikační schopnosti dětí v posledním ročníku mateřské školy a žáků prvních tříd základní školy. Práce je rozdělena do dvou základních částí. V teoretické části je vymezen vývoj dětské řeči s důrazem na zvolenou věkovou kategorii, je definována narušená komunikační schopnost, pozornost je věnována její klasifikaci a je představen systém logopedické péče v České republice. Empirickou část tvoří výzkum, v němž je předložena analýza a porovnání narušené komunikační schopnosti u dětí, které navštěvují poslední ročník mateřské školy, a žáků prvních tříd v Karlovarském kraji. Dále je zmapován přístup zákonných zástupců k problematice narušené komunikační schopnosti jejich dětí, a to z pohledu učitelů mateřských a základních škol. V neposlední řadě je v práci zhodnocena připravenost pedagogů pro práci s dětmi s touto diagnózou a spolupráce mezi učiteli obou vzdělávacích institucí.

Abstract:

The content of the thesis is devoted to the impaired communication skills of children in the last year of kindergarten and pupils of the first classes of primary school. The thesis is divided into two basic parts. In theoretical part, the development of children's speech is defined with emphasis on the selected age category, also impaired communication ability is defined, attention is paid to its classification and the system of speech therapy care in the Czech Republic is introduced. The empirical part is formed by research, in which analysis and comparison of impaired communication skills in children are presented. These children attend the last year of kindergarten and are pupils of the first classes in the Karlovy Vary Region. Furthermore, the approach of legal representatives to the issue of impaired communication skills of their children is mapped, from the perspective of nursery and primary school teachers. Last but not least, the work evaluates the readiness of teachers for working with children with this diagnosis and cooperation between teachers of both educational institutions.
