Work specifics of a social worker in day care centre

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na povolání sociálního pracovníka v denním stacionáři, protože jako první přichází do kontaktu se zájemcem o sociální službu. Sociální pracovník je důležitá osoba, která jedná a nabízí pomoc při nepříznivé sociální situaci jedince. Teoretická část se řadí do kapitol, první prezentuje sociální služby v České republice. Jednotlivé služby jsou zde popsány včetně legislativního vymezení. Součástí práce je i představení sociální služby denního stacionáře, kompetence sociálního pracovníka, etický kodex sociálního pracovníka, standardy kvality sociálních služeb, podle kterých každá registrovaná sociální služba poskytuje péči a upravuje vztahy mezi poskytovatelem a zájemcem. Poslední kapitola pojednává o individuální plánování sjednané sociální služby. V praktické části jsou zpracovány výstupy z dotazníkového šetření, zaměřené na jednání sociálního pracovníka s klientem denního stacionáře. Srozumitelnost požadavků, předávání informací a vnímání potřeb a přání klienta je priorita každého sociálního pracovníka.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the profession of a social worker in a day care center, because he is the first to come into contact with a person interested in social services. A social worker is an important person who acts and offers help in an individual's adverse social situation. The theoretical part is divided into chapters, the first presents social services in the Czech Republic. Individual services are described here, including legislative definitions. The thesis also includes an introduction to the day care social service, the competence of the social worker, the code of ethics of the social worker, the quality standards of social services according to which each registered social service provides care and regulates the relationship between the provider and the interested party. The last chapter discusses the individual planning of the agreed social service. In the practical part, the outputs from the questionnaire survey are processed, focused on the interaction of the social worker with the client of the day care center. Clarity of requirements, transfer of information and perception of client's needs and wishes is the priority of every social worker.
