Talent managment and current economic crisis in a process of human resources management

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the way how organisations apply talent managment as a process in managing of human resources during the time of current economic crisis. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the terms management, managment of human resources, talent management, talent, current economic crisis and relations between them. The author conducted qualitative research. The research was conducted as a case study and as a method of data collection semi-structured interviews were used. Data were taken from eleven organizations in Czech Republic. The work focuses on talent management as an effective way of human resources strategy in the time of current economic crisis. The findings of the research showed that organizations acknowledge the need for talented staff. They recognize talent management as an effective way of working with them and achieving the goals of organization. The economic recession has not a significant impact on the actual use of talent management but talent management can be a way how to overcome the negative impact of the economic crisis.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá talent manažmentom a súčasnou hospodárskou krízou v riadení ľudských zdrojov. Teoretická časť vymedzuje pojmy manažment, riadenie ľudských zdrojov, talent manažment, talent, súčasná hospodárska kríza a súvislosti medzi riadením ľudských zdrojov a vplyvom súčasnej hospodárskej krízy. Autorka zvolila kvalitatívnu metódu výskumu. Samotný výskum bol realizovaný ako prípadová štúdia a ako metóda zberu dát bol použitý pološtrukturovaný rozhovor. Pološtrukturované rozhovory boli uskutočnené v jedenástich organizáciách pôsobiacich v Českej republike. Práca sa sústredí na talent manažment ako efektívny nástroj riadenia ľudských zdrojov v dnešnej dobe ekonomickej recesie. Konkrétne sa zameriava na jeho efektivitu a význam v súčasnosti. Zistením tejto práce je, že organizácie vnímajú potrebu mať talentovaných zamestnancov a vidia talent manažment ako cestu efektívnej práce s nimi pre lepšie dosahovanie cieľov organizácie. Ekonomická recesia na samotné využívanie talent manažmentu veľký vplyv nemá ale talent manažment môže byť nástrojom ako lepšie prekonať negatívny vplyv hospodárskej krízy.
