Application of Assessment Centre in hotel industry

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Aplikace Assessment centra v hotelnictví“ pojednává o praktickém využití této metody se zaměřením na oblast hotelnictví, za účelem zfeketivnění řízení lidských zdrojů během výběru zaměstnanců. Cílem práce je navrhnutí konkrétního designu assessment centra pro vybraný hotel pro možné budoucí využití při modernizaci stývajících postupů. Celá práce je členěna na tři hlavní části. V teoretické části je podrobně popsána celá problematika týkající se této metody hodnocení uchazečů. V hlavní, tedy praktické části, je na základě interních dat a rozhovorů s vedením konkrétního ubytovacího střediska sestaven model dle přesně specifikovaných kritírií. Pro účely budoucího využití je rovněž sestaven časový harmonogram a v závěru je kapitola věnována finanční kalkulaci daného assessment centra. Zjištění z předešlé části byla poté implementována v návrhové části, kde byla poskytnuta možná řešení při zavádění dané metody.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on "Application of Assessment Centre in Hotel Industry" deals with the practical use of this method with a focus on the hotel industry, in order to improve the human resources management during the selection of employees. The aim of the thesis is to propose a specific design of an assessment centre for a selected hotel for possible future use in the modernisation of the existing procedures. The whole thesis is divided into three main parts. In the theoretical part, the whole issue related to this method of assessing candidates is described in detail. In the main, i.e. practical, part, a model is constructed according to precisely specified criteria on the basis of internal data and interviews with the management of a specific accommodation centre. A timetable is also drawn up for future use, and a chapter concludes with a financial calculation of the assessment centre in question. The findings from the previous section were then implemented in the design section, where possible solutions for the implementation of the method were provided.
