Přesto, že regenerační potenciál nervové tkáně je velmi omezen, bylo jasně dokázáno, že I v nervové tkání, v rámci centrálního nervového systému existuje množství buněk se schopností proliferace a diferenciace do dalších buněčných typů. Although the regenerative potential of neural tissue is very limited, it has been clearly demonstrated that, even in the neural tissue within the central nervous system, there are a plurality of cells with the ability to proliferate and differentiate into other cell types.
