Medical social work and the child as a patient

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce popisuje zdravotně sociálního pracovníka a dítě jako pacienta. Hlavním cílem této práce je seznámení čtenářů s tématem, které se konkrétně týká dětských pacientů, s podezřením na syndrom CAN. Zabývá se také zjištěním a porovnáním následného postupu zdravotně sociálního pracovníka při řešení těchto případů. Výzkumná část práce je zaměřena na tři kazuistiky, které se týkají této situace, kdy je podezření u dítěte na syndrom CAN. Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem zdravotně sociální pracovník odhaluje syndrom CAN u hospitalizovaných dětí. Kazuistiky dokumentují celkový postup spolupráce zdravotně sociálního pracovníka s dítětem a jeho rodiči. Popisují např., jaký byl podnět k nahlášení dítěte k sociálnímu šetření, kdo dítě ohlásil, jaké má dítě rodinné zázemí apod. Práce se zabývá celkovou problematikou syndromu CAN a poukazuje na potřebu řešení situace z pohledu zdravotně sociálního pracovníka.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis describes medical social worker and the child as a patient. The main objective of this work is to get acquainted readers with the topic dealing specifically with pediatric patients with suspected syndrome CAN. It also deals with finding and comparing subsequent procedure of medical social worker in solving these cases. The research part is focused on three casuistries that relate to the situation where the child is suspected of CAN syndrome. The aim of my thesis is to find out how the medical social worker detects CAN syndrome in hospitalized children. Casuistries document the overall cooperation procedure of medical social worker with the child and his parents. They describe for example what was the incentive to report the child to the social survey, who reported the child, what kind of family background has the child etc. The work deals with the total issue of CAN syndrome and points to the need of solution of the situation from medical social worker point of view.
