Impaired communication skills in children living in children's homes

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá aktuální úrovní logopedické péče p a problematikou narušené komunikační schopnosti ve vybraných dětských domovech. Cílem práce je mapovat narušenou komunikační schopnost a zjistit míru poskytování poradenských služeb v logopedické oblasti. Výsledkem práce je vyhodnocení současného stavu dětských domovů v poskytování individuální a včasné logopedické intervence dětem s narušenou komunikační schopností žijících ve vybraných dětských domovech a připravenost pedagogických pracovníků na poskytování kvalitní logopedické péče. Výsledky budou aplikovány ve speciálně pedagogické praxi. V teoretické části práce jsou zakotveny teoretické poznatky vztahující se k praktické části bakalářské práce. V úvodní kapitole jsou shrnuty základní poznatky o vývoji řeči a komunikace. V dalších částech teoretické části jsou popsány základní poznatky o narušené komunikační schopnosti, ústavní výchově, současné organizaci logopedické péče v České republice a psychickém a jazykovém vývoji dítěte včetně shrnutí specifik vývoje dítěte zařazeného do ústavní péče.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the current level of logopedic care and with the problem of impaired communication skills in selected children's homes. The aim of the thesis is to map the disrupted communication ability and to find out the extent of providing consultancing services in the logopedic area. The result of this work is an evaluation of the current situation of providing individual and timely speech therapy to children with impaired communication abilities living in selected children's homes and the readiness of pedagogical staff to provide quality logopedic care. The results will be applied in special pedagogical practice. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the theoretical knowledge related to the practical part of the bachelor thesis can be found. The introductory chapter summarizes the basic knowledge about the development of speech and communication. Following parts of the theoretical section describe basic knowledge of impaired communication skills, institutional education, current organization of logopedic care in the Czech Republic, and psychological and linguistic development of the child, including a summary of the specifics of the development of a child placed in institutional care.
