Innovation and improvement of enterprise information system

Abstract:

Technologické inovace se stávají jednou z podmínek získání vysoké konkurenceschopnosti podniku, přispívají ke zlepšování kvality služeb, zvýšení efektivity podnikových procesů a práce zaměstnanců. V této práci je zaměřeno na zkoumání informačních systémů (IS) v hotelech, pro analýzu je zvolen kyjevský HK Tourist. Cílem práce jsou návrh a aplikace metody pro identifikaci, výběr a zhodnocení efektivnosti inovace ve vybraném podniku (HK Tourist). Práce se skládá z tři hlavních častí. Výsledkem praktické části práce je popis funkcí a struktury IS, vymezení silných a slabých stránek IS. V návaznosti na to jsou definovány potřeby na zlepšení stávajícího IS hotelu a vytvořen plán inovace pro oblasti automatizace procesů marketingových průzkumů. Jedná se o instalaci dotykových zařízení (terminálů) v prostorech hotelů, umožňující vyplnění interaktivních dotazníků zákazníky, zavedení nového modulu v IS Hotel 2.3 „Marketingové průzkumy“. Byl proveden a odůvodněn výběr dodavatele terminálů – společnost CCS, navrhnut postup realizace inovace. Provedené hodnocení umožňuje tvrdit, že zavedení inovace sníží roční náklady hotelu o 37,4 tis. UAH a poskytne řádu dalších výhod, které nelze změřit – zefektivnění marketingového plánování, vylepšení kvality služeb a nabídka doplňkových výhod pro zákazníky, poskytování cenných informací pro HR oddělení, vedení hotelu.

Abstract:

Technological innovations are becoming one of the conditions for gaining high competitiveness of the company, they contribute to improving the quality of services, increasing the efficiency of business processes and the work of employees. This thesis focuses on the study of hotel information systems (IS). Hotel complex Tourist in Kyjev is chosen for analysis. The aim of the work is the design and application of a method for identification, selection and evaluation of the effectiveness of innovation in a selected company (Hotel complex Tourist). The work consists of three main parts. The result of the practical part of the work is a description of the functions and structure of IS, the definition of strengths and weaknesses of IS. Following this, the needs for improving the existing hotel IS are defined and an innovation plan is created for the areas of automation of marketing research processes. This involves the installation of touch devices (terminals) in hotel premises, enabling customers to fill in interactive questionnaires, and the introduction of a new module in IS Hotel 2.3 "Marketing Surveys". The selection of the terminal supplier – CCS, was carried out and justified, and the procedure for implementing the innovation was proposed. The performed evaluation makes it possible to claim that the introduction of the innovation will reduce the annual costs of the hotel by 37.4 thousand. UAH and will provide a number of other benefits that can not be measured – streamlining marketing planning, improving service quality and offering additional benefits to customers, providing valuable information for the HR department, hotel management.
