Professional preparation of health and social worker through the eyes of students

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je teoreticko-aplikační. V teoretické části se v první řadě zmiňuji o historii a vývoji sociální práce. Poté je dobré připomenout a uvést předpoklady pro studium tohoto oboru, které jsou nedílnou součástí profesního života sociálního pracovníka. Dále zde popisuji i etický kodex, který opět provází sociálního pracovníka každým pracovním dnem. Velmi důležitou částí přípravy na profesní život je i praxe. Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat přípravu Zdravotně sociálního pracovníka na profesní život v kontextu studentů oboru Zdravotně sociální práce. V aplikační části představím návrh na kvantitativní výzkum. V diskuzi shrnu cíl bakalářské práce a zhodnotím, co jsem zjistila. Cílem aplikační části je zjistit jaký mají studenti oboru Zdravotně sociální pracovník názor na profesní přípravu v tomto oboru v kontextu teoretické a praktické výuky, a zda je dostačující pro výkon budoucího povolání.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is theoretical-application. In the theoretical part, I first mention the history and development of social work. Then it is good to recall and state the prerequisites for studying this field, which are an integral part of the professional life of a social worker. I also describe here the code of ethics, which again accompanies the social worker every working day. Practice is also a very important part of preparation for professional life. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe the preparation of a health and social worker for professional life in the context of students in the field of health and social work. In the application part I will present a proposal for quantitative research. In the discussion I will summarize the goal of the bachelor thesis and evaluate what I found out. The aim of the application part is to find out what students of the field of Health and Social Worker have an opinion on professional training in this field in the context of theoretical and practical teaching, and whether it is sufficient for the performance of a future profession.
