Marketing communication SKODA AUTO a.s. on the Austrian market

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na marketingovou komunikaci ŠKODA AUTO a.s. na rakouském trhu. Práce si klade za cíl vysvětlit pojmy marketingové komunikace ve své teoretické části a v praktické části popsat marketingovou komunikaci značky na trhu. Teoretická část je řešena kompilací poznatků z odborné literatury, který byl konzultován s vedoucím práce. Praktická část je řešena dotazováním odborníků z praxe, analýzou jimi poskytnutých dat a vlastními zkušenostmi s rakouským trhem. Hlavní zjištění práce je, že marketingová komunikace odpovídá pozici značky na trhu a jejímu zacílení na konzervativní cílovou skupinu, s velkým podílem tištěných médií. Jako slabé stránky marketingové komunikace značky autor označil rezervy v komunikaci vize značky do budoucnosti a její investice do inovací, které odpovídají hodnotám společenské odpovědnosti mladé generace. Zároveň by bylo vhodné rozšířit tuto komunikaci v on-line prostředí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the marketing communication of ŠKODA AUTO a.s. on the Austrian market. The thesis aims to explain the concepts of marketing communication in its theoretical part and in the practical part to describe the marketing communication of the brand in the certain market. The theoretical part is solved by compiling knowledge from the literature, which was consulted with the supervisor. The practical part is solved by interviewing experts from practice, analysis of data provided by them and the own experience with the Austrian market. The main finding of the thesis is that marketing communication corresponds to the brand's position in the market and its targeting of a conservative target group, with a large share of print media. The author identified the reserves in the communication of the brand's vision for the future and its investment into the innovations, which correspond to the values of social responsibility of the young generation, as weaknesses of the brand's marketing communication. At the same time, it would be appropriate to expand this communication in the online space.
