Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zabývá mediálním obrazem prvorepublikové pozemkové reformy na stránkách deníků Venkov, Právo lidu a Národní listy v období od 20. března 1919 do 17. dubna 1919. Naším záměrem je na základě analýzy vybraných úvodníků identifikovat a popsat hlavní diskursivní mechanismy utváření mediálního obrazu reformy a také odhalit a porovnat základní diskursivní modely, jež texty v souvislosti s reformou utváří. K dosažení cíle práce jsme zvolili metodu kritické diskursivní analýzy, která nám dovolí zkoumat, jak byl vytvářen mediální obraz reformy na rovině obsahové, kontextové i ideologické. V teoretické části práce vycházíme zejména ze sociálně-konstruktivistické teorie Bergera a Luckmanna, koncepce diskursu a diskursivní analýzy podle Jamese Paula Geeho a konceptu ideologie a ideologických modů operandi definovaných Johnem B. Thompsonem. Na základě analýzy vybraných textů lze konstatovat, že mediální obraz pozemkové reformy je ve sledovaných denících konstruován velmi podobně, liší se však diskursivní modely, jež jsou čtenáři v jednotlivých denících předkládány.

Abstract:

Presented thesis deals with the media image of the First Republic’s land reform on pages of Venkov, Právo lidu and Národní listy from 20th March 1919 till 17th April 1919. Our aim, on the basis of analysis of chosen editorials, is to identify and describe main discursive mechanisms of the construction of the reform media image and reveal and compare basic discourse models created by texts in context of reform. To fullfil our aim we use the method of critical discourse analysis which allows us to explore the construction of the reform media image on the contentual, contextual and ideological level. We base the theoretical part of the thesis on Berger-Luckmann’s social-constructionist theory, James Paul Gee’s concept of discourse and discourse analysis and concept of ideology and ideological modes of operation defined by John B. Thompson. On the basis of analysis of chosen texts can be claimed that the media image of the land reform is constructed very similarly in the chosen newspapers, but the discourse models presented to readers are different.
