Social work with immigrants and their integration in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá procesem integrace cizinců, kteří přicestovali ze země svého původu do České republiky. Cílem práce je zmapovat možnosti pomoci cizincům se začlenit do většinové společnosti a zároveň přiblížit práci sociálních pracovníků. Teoretická část vymezuje sociální práci jako takovou, ale dále jsou přiblíženy možnosti využití sociálních služeb poskytovaných migrantům ze strany samotného státu, krajů a obcí i služeb poskytovaných neziskovými organizacemi. Rovněž popisuje řízení o azylu a také podporu státu a nevládních neziskových organizací po udělení azylu či mezinárodní ochrany. Ubytovací služby jsou v prvopočátku pro migranta velmi důležité, proto jsou v bakalářské práci uvedeny pobytové služby a pobytová azylová střediska. Cílem aplikační části je na konkrétním případu klientky azylového střediska Havířov ukázat proces integrace od odchodu ze země původu až po odchod z azylového střediska a začlenění se do většinové společnosti. Jako techniku sběru dat byla využita analýza spisové dokumentace. Pro specifikaci předkládaných dat, byla tato analýza doplněna expertním rozhovorem se sociálním pracovníkem azylového střediska Havířov.

Abstract:

The presented barchelor thesis deals with the process of integration of foreigners who came from their country of origin to the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to map the possibilities of foreigners to integrate into majority society and at the same time to approach the work of social workers. The theoretical part defines social work as such, but the possililities of using social services provided to immigrants by the state, regions and municipalities as well as services provided by non-profit organizations are also presented. It also describes the asylum rocedure as well as the supposrt of the state non-governmental non-profit orgniaztions after granting asylu mor international protection. Accommodation services are initially very importants, so the barchelor's thesis lists residential services and residential asylum centers. The aim of the application part is to show the process of integration from leaving the country of origin to leaving te asylum center and integration into the majority society in the specific case of the client of the Havířov asylum center. File documentation analysis was used as a data collection technique. To specify the submitted data, this analysis was supplemented by an expert interview a socila worker at the Havířov asylum center.
