Attacker and threat models in the security of information and communication technologies

Anotace:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem modelů útočníka a hrozeb v oblasti informačních a komunikačních technologiích. Teoretická část vymezuje základní terminologii, užívanou ve spojitosti s tímto odvětvím, která je posléze použita na vysvětlení vývoje informačních a komunikačních technologiích za posledních 10 let. Dále se práce věnuje modelování hrozeb a modelům útočníka. Posledním bodem teoretické části je uvedení nástrojů užívaných ze strany hackerů k realizaci samotného kybernetického útoku. Navazující praktická část se zabývá kategorizací nástrojů útoku v prostředí bezpečnosti informačních a komunikačních technologií pomocí SWOT analýzy. Následuje kritické zhodnocení výsledků SWOT analýzy.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of attacker models and threats in the field of information and communication technologies. The theoretical part defines the basic terminology used in connection with this industry, which is then used to explain the development of information and communication technologies over the last 10 years. The work also deals with threat modelling and attacker models. The last point of the theoretical part is the presentation of the tools used by hackers to carry out the cyber attack itself. The subsequent practical part deals with the categorization of attack tools in the security environment of information and communication technologies using a SWOT analysis. The following is a critical evaluation of the results of the SWOT analysis.
