The organizational culture and satisfaction of employees at Ford Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat organizační kulturu a s ní spojenou pracovní spokojenost české pobočky americké nadnárodní korporace Ford Motor Company působící v automobilovém průmyslu. Analýza je prováděna se záměrem zmapovat jak stav organizační kultury působí na míru spokojenosti zaměstnanců. Teoretická část se zabývá problematikou organizační kultury, pracovní spokojeností a faktory, jež na ní mohou mít značný vliv. V praktické části je nejprve představena společnost Ford Motor Company a následně vyhodnocena data z šetření. K provedení analýzy bylo využito dotazníkového šetření a individuálních rozhovorů, kdy respondenti odpovídali na otázky týkající se jednotlivých prvků organizační kultury a oblastí pracovní spokojenosti. Na základě zjištění jsou v závěru práce autorem navrhnuta doporučení pro možné nastolení změn v této společnosti.

Abstract:

The aim of this master thesis is to analyze the organizational culture and the job satisfaction that is connected to it in the Czech branch of the American international corporation Ford Motor Company operating in the car industry. The analysis is carried out with the intention to map the effect of the organizational culture on the level of satisfaction of the employees. The theoretical part deals with the topic of organizational culture, job satisfaction and factors that may influence it. The practical part first introduces the Ford Motor Company and later on evaluates the data obtained from a research. This research is based on a questionnaire and individual interviews in which the respondents answered the questions regarding the particular elements of the organizational culture and the field of work satisfaction. Based on the findings, the author proposes recommendations for possible changes in the organizational culture of this company at the end of the thesis.
