Computer literacy of children from 5th class at primary schools with composite classes

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá aktuálním tématem – počítačovou gramotností se zaměřením na žáky 5. třídy malotřídní základní školy. Teoretická část zahrnuje vymezení pojmů gramotnost, informační a počítačová gramotnost, začlenění informační výchovy do Rámcového vzdělávacího programu základního vzdělávání (RVP ZV) a statistická šetření, která poukazují na úroveň informační a počítačové gramotností v České republice a ve světě. Dále představuje některé projekty a programy podporující rozvoj informační gramotnosti. V praktické části je nejprve charakterizována základní škola, na níž jsem prováděla výzkum. Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit úroveň poznatků z oblasti informační a komunikační technologie. K tomu posloužilo vypracování teoretických a praktických úkolů v pretestu a posttestu. Následné srovnání výsledků ukazuje posun v základních dovednostech a vědomostech žáků. Přípravy na vyučovací hodiny informatiky, které jsou uvedeny v příloze, mohou sloužit jako metodické příručky.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the current theme - computer literacy focusing on pupils in 5th class at primary school with composite classes. The theoretical part includes definitions of literacy, information and computer literacy, integration of information literacy into the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education (FEP) and the statistical surveys, which refer to the level of information and computer literacy in the Czech Republic and in the world. In the practical part a primary school is first characterized where I did the research. The main objective was to determine the level of knowledge in the field of information and communication technology. This served to produce theoretical and practical tasks in the pretest and posttest. Subsequent comparison of the results shows a shift in students´ basic computer skills and thorough grounding of information and communication technology. Preparations for lessons of information and communication technology which are listed in the appendix, can serve as a methodological guide.
