Market and Competition analysis in the field of air transport ticket sales in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou trhu a konkurence v oblasti prodeje letecké přepravy v ČR. Cílem této práce je účelné vysvětlení mechanismu fungování trhu a zjištění všech konkurenčních sil na něm působících. Dalším cílem je formulace strategického záměru pro vybranou společnost Asiana, spol. s.r.o., který zahrnuje vizi, poslání, strategické cíle a samotnou strategii podniku. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na historický vývoj v oblasti prodeje letecké přepravy a na vymezení metodik analýzy, které jsou aplikovány v praktické části. K rozboru makroprostředí je použita analýza PESTLE, mikroprostředí analyzuje Porterův model pěti konkurenčních sil. Následně je vyhodnocená strategická pozice vybraného podniku a jsou zjištěny klíčové rizikové faktory, které podnik ovlivňují. Na základě scénářů vývoje prostředí jsou dál zvoleny varianty strategií a provedena korekce vize a strategických cílů.

Abstract:

his diploma thesis deals with market and competition in the field of air transport ticket sales in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to explain the mechanism of market functioning and to identify all the competitive forces on it. Another goal is the formulation of a strategic plan for the selected company Asiana, spol. s.r.o., which includes vision, mission, strategic goals and the company strategy. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the historical development in the field of air transport ticket sales and the definition of the methods of analysis that are applied in the practical part. PESTLE analysis is used to analyze the macro-environment, the micro-environment analyzes Porter's model of five competing forces. Subsequently, the strategic position of the selected business is evaluated and the key risk factors that affect the company are identified. On the basis of scenarios of environment development, strategy variants are selected and the vision and strategic objectives are corrected.
