The effect of drama education on the development of vocal skills

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Část teoretických východisek a část praktického výzkumu. První kapitola teoretické části charakterizuje pojmy žák staršího školního věku, vysvětluje vývoj pubescenta, popisuje možnosti jeho vzdělávání v rámcovém vzdělávacím programu, jeho zájmové a umělecké vzdělávání a také obsahuje podkapitolu Dramatická výchova v rámcovém vzdělávacím programu. V druhé kapitole popisuji mluvní ústrojí, vlastnosti hlasu, výrazové složky hlasu a pojem hlasová výchova. Třetí kapitola stručně vysvětluje pojem dramatická výchova, její cíle a východiska, vztah procesu a produktu u dramatické výchovy a její metody a techniky rozvíjející hlasové dovednosti. Praktická část obsahuje popis výzkumných technik, které byly při výzkumu použity, charakteristiky zařízení, kde byl výzkum prováděn a nejobjemnější část práce, výsledky výzkumného šetření a jejich závěr. Záměrem tohoto výzkumného projektu bylo analyzovat využití dramatické výchovy ve výchovně vzdělávacím procesu. Výzkum si kladl za cíl prokázat pozitivní vliv dramatické výchovy na komunikativní a hlasové dovednosti jedince hravou formou a apelovat tak na vrácení dramatické výchovy do osnov základních škol v rámci uměleckých předmětů v dotaci jedné hodiny týdně a také navrácení specializace dramatická výchovy na katedry primární pedagogiky.

Abstract:

This thesis consists of two parts; the theoretical background and the practical research. The first chapter of the theoretical background describes the concept of a secondary school pupil and the development of teenagers. It then goes on to discuss their educational opportunities within the educational framework programme and their artistic extracurrilular actitivies. It also contains a subchapter – the Drama in Educational Framework Programme. The second chapter describes speech organs, voice properties, expressive components of voice and the concept of voice education. The third chapter briefly explains the concept of drama education, its goals and outcomes, the relationship of process and product in drama education and also its methods and techniques of developing voice skills.The practical part of the thesis describes the tools and techniques used during the research and the characteristics of the facilities where the research was conducted. It also contains the results of the research and its conclusions. This is the largest part of the thesis. The aim of this research project is to analyse the use of drama education in the educational process. The goal is to demonstrate the positive impact of playful techniques of drama education on communication and voice skills. It thus advises the importance of reinstating at least one hour of drama education a week into the primary school curriculum and also advises the resinstating of drama education specialism at departments of primary education at universities.
