Analysis of the Experience of Selected Accommodation Facilities Providing Services to Persons with Disabilities

Abstract:

Tématem práce je analýza zkušeností vybraných ubytovacích zařízení, které poskytují služby osobám zdravotně postiženým, konkrétně osobám na vozíku. Teoretická část práce obsahuje vymezení základních pojmů cestovního ruchu, jejich rozdělení a specifické zaměření pro osoby postižené. Dále pak zaměření na cílovou skupinu. Definici osoby zdravotně postižené, zejména tělesně postižené. Velmi důležitým bodem jsou podmínky pro využívání bezbariérových staveb občanského vybavení. Zvláštní podmínky, vnitřní prostory a principy přístupnosti, které se týkají ubytovacích zařízení. Nejdůležitějším krokem analytické části jsou samotné rozhovory. Hlavně hloubkové rozhovory s vozíčkáři a organizátory pobytů zaměřených na OZP. Následná analýza popisuje zkušenosti vozíčkářů v rámci bezbariérového ubytování. Návrhová část je zaměřena na doporučení pro poskytovatele ubytovacích zařízení. Ti by se měli více zajímat o certifikáty bezbariérovosti, pečlivě si prostudovat vyhlášku o bezbariérovém užívání staveb, zohlednit potřeby OZP a posílit reklamu pro budoucí zákazníky. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda vybraná hotelová zařízení odpovídají požadavkům hendikepovaných. Zdali bezbariérové prostory jsou vyhovující ve všech ohledech a jestli jsou reálné s nabízejícími službami. Mimo jiné bylo cílem výzkumu zjistit důvody výběru daného hotelu a jaké nástroje byly k tomu využity. Výstupem práce je zhodnocení těchto zkušeností v daných ubytovacích zařízení. Následné podrobení zda je bezbariérovost na vysoké úrovni a splňuje požadavky podle vyhlášky.

Abstract:

The topic of the work is focused on the analysis of the experience of selected accommodation facilities providing services to persons with disabilities, particularly to people in wheelchairs. Theoretical part contains definitations of basic concepts of tourism, tourism deviding and specific focus at people with disabilities. Furthermore, the focus on the target group. Definition of disabled person, especially physically handicapped. Very important point, the conditions for use of public facilities barrier-free buildings. Special conditions, indoors and accessibility principles relating to accommodations. The most important part in analyse are interviews. Especially in-depth talks with people on wheelchairs and organizers of stay for disabled people. Subsequent analysis describes the experiences of accessible accommodation for people on wheelchairs. Forms part focuses on recommendations for providers of accommodation facilities. They should be more concerned about the cerificates of accessibility, carefully read the regulation about barrier free use of buildings, take account the need of person with disabilities and make advertising stronger for future customers. The aim of the thesis was to determine whether a selected hotel facilities mmet the requirements of the disabled. If barrier-free spaces are satisfactory in all aspects and if it real with offering services. Among other things, the aim was to find out the reasons for choosing the hotel and what tools were used for it. The output of the work is evaluate experience in these accommodation facilities. Subsequent submissions if no barriers are at high level and meet the requirements of the regulation.
