Analysis of communication competencies of pupils in 9th grade in the practical primary school

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce je analýza komunikačních kompetencí u žáků 9. ročníku základní školy praktické. Diplomová práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol a zpracovaná na základě studia a analýzy odborné literatury. V první kapitole jsou definovány pojmy komunikace, komunikační dovednosti, verbální a neverbální komunikace a narušené komunikační dovednosti. Druhá kapitola zpracovává téma mentálního postižení, jeho definici, klasifikaci, etiologii a charakteristiku jedinců s lehkým mentálním postižením. Náplní třetí kapitoly je samotný žák s lehkým mentálním postižením z pohledu edukace. Hlavním cílem empirické části práce je analýza komunikačních schopností a dílčích dovedností sledovaných žáků. Během šetření byly u všech žáků prokázány individuální nedostatky v úrovni komunikačních kompetencí zapříčiněny jejich mentálním postižením a přidruženými vadami.

Abstract:

The aim of diploma thesis is to analyse the communication skills of pupils in 9th grade at primary practical school. This thesis has two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is processed on the bases of the studies and of the anylysis of the technical literature. In the first chapter is processed topic of communication and communication skills, verbal and non-verbal communication and disturbed communication skill. The second chapter defines the idea of mental retardation, its definition, classification, etiology and characteristics of individuals with mild mental disabilities. The oneself pupil with mild mental disability from a point of view of education is a content of the third chapter. The main objective of the empirical part of this work was analysis of communication skills monitered pupils. During the investigation there was found out, that all the pupils had individual gaps in their communication skills, caused by their mental disabilities and associated defects.
