The Role of a personal assistant in a special pedagogical care to heavily handicapped patientns of combined disability

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rolí osobního asistenta ve speciálně pedagogické péči u jedinců s těžkým kombinovaným postižením. Cílem je posoudit specifika této role z pohledů rodičů, osobních asistentů a speciálních pedagogů, kteří se nejčastěji podílejí na výchovně - vzdělávacím procesu u dětí výše uvedené cílové skupiny. Teoretická část práce se zabývá specifiky cílové skupiny, pojednává o dané problematice z hlediska legislativy, vymezuje teoretické podmínky výchovně - vzdělávacího procesu a uvádí nejčastěji užívané formy terapií u jedinců s těžkým kombinovaným postižením. Praktická část diplomové práce obsahuje charakteristiku výzkumného vzorku a výzkumného prostředí, cíle, hypotézy, metody, techniky a vlastní výzkumnou část s následnou interpretací výsledků.

Abstract:

This dissertation deal with the role of a personal assistant in a special pedagogical care to heavily handicapped patients of combined disability. The author´s goal is to review aspects of such role as far as parents, personal assistants and special pedagogical workers are concerned - i.e. those who play a major part in the process of education to the above described patients. Theoretical part of the theses focuses on the target group´s characteristics. It also tackles the subject while considering its legislative connotations, presents determinations of the educational operations´ theoretical requirements and describes most commonly used therapy forms for heavily handicapped patients of combined disability Applied part of the theses not only presents characteristics of research´s sample and its experimental environment, but also conntains goals, hypotheses, methods, techniques and self-research work leading into its outcome´s presentation.
