War Damage in Brno and Efforts to Rectify them in 1944-1948
Abstract:
Tématem diplomové práce jsou válečné škody způsobené na území města Brna v průběhu druhé světové války následkem leteckých útoků západních spojenců i sovětského letectva a osvobozovacích bojů v letech 1944-1945. Tomuto tému je věnována první část práce. Druhá část práce je věnována snahám brněnských obyvatel a úřadů o následnou nápravu těchto škod a jejich stručné zhodnocení.
Abstract:
The topic of my diploma thesis is war damages caused in the area of the city Brno during the World War II as a consequence of attack enemy air of the west Allies and soviet air force and as a consequence of the fight for liberty in 1944-1945. I dedicated to this theme in the first part of my thesis. The second part deals with the efforts of the inhabitants and offices in Brno to redress these damages …more
