Diplomová práce se zabývá dopady pandemie koronaviru na poskytování sociálních služeb v domovech pro seniory v Bohumíně a Slavkově u Opavy. Teoretická část popisuje vznik pandemie, definuje pojmy jako stárnutí, stáří a senior. Zabývá se i sociální prací se seniory a především popisuje život seniora v domově pro seniory. The diploma thesis deals with the Impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on the provision of social services in homes for the elderly in Bohumín and Slavkov u Opavy. The theoretical part describes the origin of the pandemic, defines terms such as aging, old age and senior.
