The analysis of web pages for vocabulary work for children and adolescents at language levels A0/A1

Abstract:

My diploma thesis deals with the analysis of websites that include exercises to fix and practice vocabulary and to create vocabulary summary. The analysed websites are suitable for using in teaching of German language as the second foreign language at the primary school. I analyse the websites on the basis of selected criterions for the evaluation of language software. On each website, I show all offered types of vocabulary exercises and I create the specific exercises with vocabulary topics required by the Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education in the Czech Republic. I believe that my thesis could be helpful to the beginning teachers as to all German language teachers who want to use modern technologies, e.g. computers and tablets with the Internet connection, in their teaching.

Abstract:

Tématem mé diplomové práce je analýza webových stránek, které obsahují cvičení k upevňování a procvičování slovní zásoby či k tvorbě přehledů slovní zásoby. Analyzované stránky jsou vhodné k využití ve výuce německého jazyka jako druhého cizího jazyka vyučovaného na základní škole. Webové stránky analyzuji na základě zvolených kritérií k hodnocení jazykových softwarů. U každé webové stránky představuji všechny nabízené typy cvičení ke slovní zásobě a vytvářím konkrétní cvičení s tématy slovní zásoby vyžadovanými Rámcovým vzdělávacím programem pro základní vzdělávání v České republice. Věřím, že má práce může být přínosná nejen pro začínající učitele, ale pro všechny učitele německého jazyka, kteří mají chuť využít ve výuce moderní technologie, například počítače a tablety s připojením na internet.
