Trend tools of strategic management in golf club

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá strategickým řízením golfového areálu Prague city golf. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První teoretická část je vypracována jako literární rešerše na základě české a zahraniční odborné literatury a objasňuje pojmy jako jsou - strategie, strategické řízení, strategická analýza a její jednotlivé metody. Druhá aplikační část je zaměřena na představení resortu a zpracování strategické analýzy za využití PEST analýzy, Porterova modelu 5 sil a analýzy marketingového mixu. Na základě těchto analýz je vytvořena matice SWOT, která shrnuje výsledky předchozích analýz ve čtyřech skupinách – silné a slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby. V závěru práce jsou na základě těchto analýz vytvořeny návrhy a doporučení, jak dále rozvíjet daný resort, což je hlavním cílem práce. Aplikační část vychází především z analýzy interních i externích materiálů, polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a pozorování.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the strategic management of the Prague city golf course. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part is elaborated as a literary research on the basis of Czech and foreign specialised literature and clarifies concepts such as - strategy, strategic management, strategic analysis and its individual methods. The second application part is focused on the introduction of the compound and the processing of strategic analysis using PEST analysis, Porter's model of 5 forces and analysis of the marketing mix. Based on these analyses, a SWOT matrix is created, which summarizes the results of previous analyses in four groups - strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. At the end of the thesis, based on these analyses, suggestions and recommendations are made on how to further develop the compound, which is the main goal of the thesis. The application part is mainly based on the analysis of internal and external materials, semi-structured interviews and observations.
