Communication Skills of Health-Care and Social Workers from Perspective of Clients

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice komunikačních kompetencí sociálních pracovníků a má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na analýzu pojmů sociální práce, komunikační kompetence, klient sociální práce a teoretická východiska komunikace. Praktická část popisuje metodologii kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován s klienty sociálních pracovníků prostřednictvím dotazníku. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky výzkumu, jehož cílem bylo zjistit spokojenost klientů s úrovní komunikačních kompetencí sociálních pracovníků.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with communication skills of social workers and has a theoretical and empirical character. The theoretical part focuses on the basic analysis of social work, communication competence, client of social work and the theoretical basis of communication. The practical part describes the methodology of quantitative research which was realized with clients of social workers through a questionnaire. At the end of the thesis are summarized the results of the research aimed at finding out the satisfaction of clients with the level of communication competencies of social workers.
