Using calculators as a separate topic in mathematics teaching

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem využíváním a zacházením kalkulátorů během výuky matematiky, zejména na základní škole. V úvodu práce jsou obecně popsány kalkulačky a témata, které kalkulačky a výuku matematiky propojují. V hlavní části jsou popsány jednotlivé funkce a operace kalkulaček, jejich využití ve výuce a ukázky na konkrétních příkladech z učebnic. Zároveň jsou tu detailní postupy, jak s funkcemi na kalkulačce zacházet. V závěru je popsáno, jak se mění přístup k využívání kalkulaček na střední škole oproti základní škole, a změny ve využívání kalkulaček v průběhu let až do současnosti.

Abstract:

My thesis deals with the topic of the use and handling of calculators during the teaching of mathematics, especially in elementary school. In the introduction of the thesis, calculators and topics that connect calculators and mathematics teaching are described in general. The main part describes the individual functions and operations of calculators, their use in teaching and examples of concrete examples from textbooks. At the same time, there are detailed procedures on how to handle the functions on the calculator. In the conclusion, it is described how the approach to the use of calculators changes in high school compared to elementary school, and changes in the use of calculators over the years until now.
