Kindergarten Teachers´ Awareness of Speech Therapy Prevention

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na logopedickou prevenci v mateřské škole. Pohled na logopedickou prevenci zkoumáme z pohledu učitele. V teoretické části nejdříve vymezujeme pojímání logopedické prevence v rámci Ministerstva školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy a popisujeme zařízení, která se logopedickou péčí zabývají. Dále definujeme pojem logopedická prevence a blíže popisujeme spojitost mezi ní a mateřskou školou. V souvislosti s logopedickou prevencí se zabýváme i kompetencemi učitele mateřské školy, které si přiblížíme. Praktická část bakalářské práce je postavena na kvantitativně orientovaném výzkumu, ve kterém jsme zjišťovali za pomocí dotazníku, jaké povědomí mají učitelky mateřských škol o logopedické prevenci, jak souvisí se vzděláním učitelek a také nás zajímalo, jak respondenti zařazují logopedickou prevenci do běžného programu mateřské školy a jak vnímají narušenou komunikační schopnost u dětí. Výsledky byly na základě dat z dotazníku zpracovány, v rámci diskuse srovnány s jinými výzkumy a bylo sepsáno doporučení pro praxi mateřských škol.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on speech therapy prevention in kindergarten. We examine the view of speech therapy prevention from the teacher's perspective. In the theoretical part, we first define the concept of speech therapy prevention within the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and describe the facilities that deal with speech therapy care. Next, we define the term speech therapy prevention and describe in more detail is link with kindergarten. In connection with speech therapy prevention, we also address kindergarten teacher's competences, which are further explained. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is based on quantitatively oriented research, in which we determined with the help of a questionnaire what kindergarten teachers know about speech therapy prevention and, how it is related to the education of female teachers. We were also interested in how the respondents included speech therapy prevention in the regular kindergarten program and how they perceive impaired communication ability in children. The results were processed on the basis of the data acquired in the questionnaire, compared to other research in the framework of the discussion, and a recommendation for the practice of kindergartens was drawn up.
