Analysis of changes in land use after gravel extraction in the mining area Dobrin and Racice

Abstract:

V diplomové práci na téma "Analýza změny využití krajiny po těžbě štěrkopísku v dobývacím prostoru Dobříň a Račice" je v úvodu stručné shrnutí o historii dobývání tohoto stavebního materiálu, jeho využití, o vlivech pískoven na životní prostředí a zdůvodnění volby tématu práce. Dále formulace řešeného problému a s ním související cíle práce. Následuje teoretická část, kdy první kapitola má uvozující charakter a představuje popis a vymezení geografických informačních systémů. V praktické části se práce zabývá vlastním zhodnocením změn krajinného pokryvu za období od r. 1840 (COSK), po současnost a konečném stavu po ukončení těžby a provedení příslušných rekultivací s předpokladem někdy po roce 2020.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis titled 'The Change Analysis of the Landscape Utilisation after Gravel Mining in the Allotment Dobříň and Račice' briefly summarises the history of gravel mining, its use, the effects of sand quarries on the environment, and the reasons for choosing the topic of this thesis. It defines the solved problem and the related goals of the thesis. The following part is theoretical, and the first chapter has a topical character which describes and defines the geographic information systems. The practical part focuses on the assessment of the changes in the landscape surface from 1840 (COSK) to this day, and until the final state after the mining termination and the completion of all required reclamations, which is expected after 2020.
