Efficiency of exhibitions and trade fairs in the selected industry – veterinary medicine industry

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce projednává problematiku efektivity realizace účasti výstav a veletrhů ve veterinární medicíně. Teoretická část bakalářské práce definuje pojem marketingové komunikace a nástroje v ní používané, dále poznatky z veletržní a výstavní oblasti, které zahrnují historii veletrhů a výstav, definice veletrhů a výstav a rozdíly mezi nimi, postavení veletrhů a výstav v marketingové komunikaci, popis doprovodného programu na veletrzích a výstavách a fáze vystavovacího procesu. Na základě dostupných informací a získaných výsledků z provedeného kvalitativního a kvantitativního výzkumu v praktické části bakalářské práce je popsáno, zda je pro firmy efektivní se účastnit veletrhů nebo výstav ve veterinárním odvětví a zda by firmy v oblasti veterinární medicíny měly zahrnovat veletrhy a výstavy do komunikačním mixu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of the effectiveness of the implementation of exhibitions and fairs in the veterinary medicine. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis defines the concept of marketing communication and tools used in it, hereafter describes the knowledge of trade fairs and exhibitions, which includes the history of trade fairs and exhibitions, definitions of trade fairs and exhibitions and differences between them, the position of trade fairs and exhibitions in marketing communication, description of the accompanying program at trade fairs and exhibitions and phases of the exhibition process. Based on available information and the results of the qualitative and quantitative research in practical part of the bachelor's thesis it defines whether it is effective to participate in trade fairs or exhibitions in the veterinary sector and whether companies in the field of veterinary medicine should include trade fairs and exhibitions in their communication mix.
