Logopaedic Preventative Care for Children with Communication Disorder in The Logopedic Classes.

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je logopedická prevence ve třídách samostatně zřízených pro děti s narušenou komunikační schopností. V práci byly stanoveny dva hlavní cíle. Prvním hlavním cílem práce bylo popsat terciární logopedickou prevenci u předškolních dětí s NKS ve vybrané logopedické třídě MŠ. Druhým hlavním cílem bylo zjistit v rámci ČR současný výskyt druhů NKS v MŠ a třídách MŠ, zřízených podle §16 odst.9 školského zákona, pro děti se závažnými vadami řeči, případně s kombinovaným postižením. Teoretická část vychází z dostupné odborné literatury a je členěna do čtyř stěžejních kapitol. Je zde popsán vývoj předškolního dítěte v jednotlivých oblastech, především vývoj řeči. Dále se zabývá NKS a charakteristikou vybraných druhů NKS. Zaměření je zde také na klasifikaci logopedické prevence a legislativní ukotvení předškolního vzdělávání. Praktická část obsahuje a popisuje dva výzkumná šetření obsahující kvantitativní i kvalitativní přístupy. Jsou zde prezentovány závěry z nich vyplývající.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is logopaedic preventative care for children with communication disorders in logopaedic classes. This thesis has two main goals. The first main goal of this thesis was to describe tertiary speech therapy prevention for preschool children with a communication disorder in a selected logopaedic class in a regular kindergarten. The second main goal was to determine the current frequency of occurrences of types of communication disorders in selected kindergartens and kindergarten classes for children with severe speech and language disorders or combined disabilities in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is based on available literature and is divided into four main chapters. It describes the development of preschool children in various areas, primarily focusing on speech development. It also deals with communication disorders and the characteristics of selected types of communication disorders. The focus is also on the classification of speech therapy prevention and the legislative framework for preschool education. The practical part contains and describes two research investigations that utilize both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The conclusions drawn from these investigations are presented here.
