Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena především na osobu Josefa Kalfuse, s hlavním zaměřením na léta 1936-1945, kdy vykonával funkci ministra financí ve vládách Československé republiky, Česko-Slovenska a Protektorátu Čechy a Morava. Důraz je kladen hlavně na protektorátní dobu (1939-1945), kdy Kalfus jako člen protektorátní vlády musel již ze samé podstaty své vysoké funkce spolupracovat s německou okupační mocí a zároveň měl touhu jako Čech svými činy napomáhat protinacistickému odboji a bránit pronikání nepřátelských činitelů do české správy. Ve své práci se také velmi významně zabývám děním okolo procesu s protektorátní vládou, se zaměřením na obžalobu a obhajobu Josefa Kalfuse. V závěru hodnotím míru viny a zásluh, především co se týče Kalfuse jako vysokého vládního činitele své okupované země. V neposlední řadě popisuji v bakalářské práci dobu, v níž tento muž žil, a její klíčové okamžiky v letech 1938-1945, kterých byl často přímým účastníkem.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused primarily on the person of Josef Kalfus, with the main focus on the years 1936-1945, when he served as Minister of Finance in the governments of the Czechoslovak Republic, Czecho-Slovakia and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Emphasis is placed mainly on the Protectorate (1939-1945), when Kalfus, as a member of the Protectorate government, had to cooperate with the German occupying power from the very essence of his high position and at the same time had the desire as a Czech to help anti-Nazi resistance and prevent news. In my work, I also deal very significantly with the events surrounding the process with the protectorate government, focusing on the indictment and defense of Josef Kalfus. In conclusion, he evaluates the degree of guilt and merit, especially with regard to Kalfus as a high government official of his occupied country. Last but not least, in my bachelor thesis I describe the time in which this man lived and its key moments in the years 1938-1945, in which he was often a direct participant.
