Climbing Techniques and Equipment in Rescue

Abstract:

Práce „Záchrana na laně pomocí lezeckých technik a vybavení“ podává přehled základních lezeckých technik a lezeckého vybavení, které je používáno pro záchranu osob na laně. Cílem práce je zaměřit se na takové techniky a vybavení, které jsou používány jednotlivými složkami integrovaného záchranného systému (Hasičský záchranný sbor ČR, Armáda ČR, Horská služba ČR). Práce poskytuje kvalitativní přehled znalostí v dané oblasti a syntézu zjištěných údajů a teoretických poznatků. Uvedená práce v pěti kapitolách shrnuje dosavadní používané techniky jednotlivými složkami integrovaného záchranného systému a přináší ucelený popis lezeckých technik a vybavení na jednom místě, což poskytuje možnost srovnání jednotlivých technik a zvážení případné jednotné edukace či koordinovaného postupu při provádění záchrany na laně v rámci integrovaného záchranného systému.

Abstract:

The paper „Climbing Techniques and Equipment in Rescue “ provides an overview of the basic climbing techniques and climbing equipment which is used for rope rescue. The aim of the study is to deal with the techniques and equipment which are used by the different organizations which together create the integrated rescue services (the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic, the Army of the Czech Republic, the Mountain Rescue of the Czech Republic), to give a qualitative report of knowledge in this area and to provide an overview of the collected data. Therefore, it is a paper presenting the summary of the theoretical findings concerning the presented topic. The study is divided to five chapters which comprehensively decribe the techniques and equipment used in the area of the rope rescue thus it offers the comparison of the particular techniques. The thesis also enables to consider the possibility of the unified education or co-ordinated process in the course of the rope rescue within the integrated rescue services.
