Impact of the financial crisis on financing of the selected company by bank loans

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá bankovním trhem v České republice, jeho nedávnou historií, obdobím transformace, nedávné finanční krize, až po současnou situaci. Dále dopadem finanční krize na konkrétní společnost a její provozní financování bankovními produkty. Práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části, a to na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá úlohou bankovnictví obecně, vývojem bankovního trhu po přechodu k tržní ekonomice a současnou strukturou trhu v České republice. Dále se práce věnuje tématu světové finanční krize, která postihla globální ekonomiku v roce 2008. Tyto poznatky jsou následně analyzovány v dopadu finanční krize na bankovní trh v České republice a na příkladu konkrétní výrobně obchodní společnosti Kiwi s.r.o. (název byl pozměněn), potažmo na její provozní financování bankovními produkty.

Abstract:

This paper deals with the banking market in the Czech Republic, its recent history, the transition period, the recent financial crisis to the current situation. Furthermore, it describes the impact of the financial crisis on the particular company and its operational funding by banking products. The work is divided into two basic parts, the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the role of banking in general, development of the banking market after the transition to the market economy and the current structure of the market in the Czech Republic. The thesis is devoted to the topic of the global financial crisis that hit the global economy in 2008. These findings are analyzed in the impact of the financial crisis on the banking market in the Czech Republic and in the concrete example of the manufacturing and trading company Kiwi Ltd. (name changed), hence its operational funding by banking products.
