Communication skills of pupils with physical disabilities in the federal land Baden-Württemberg and their development

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá komunikačními schopnostmi žáků s tělesným postižením ve spolkové zemi Baden-Württemberg a jejich rozvojem. Teoretická část práce vychází z analýzy odborné české a zahraniční literatury. Zabývá se teoretickými východisky z oblasti komunikační schopnosti, jazykových rovin v ontogenezi řeči, narušené komunikační schopnosti a symptomatických poruch řeči. Věnuje se tělesnému postižení, zejména mozkové obrně a vzdělávání žáků s tělesným postižením ve Spolkové republice Německo. Pojednává také o komunikaci osob s tělesným postižením, o formách narušené komunikační schopnosti, především dysartrii, a specifikách logopedické intervence. Empirická část práce popisuje kvalitativní výzkumné šetření, ve kterém byly analyzovány komunikační schopnosti žáků s tělesným postižením ve spolkové zemi Baden-Württemberg a jejich rozvoj. Jako výzkumné metody zde figurovaly případové studie, analýzy dokumentů, rozhovory s logopedkami a třídními učitelkami žáků a pozorování.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with communication skills of pupils with physical disabilities in the federal state Baden-Württemberg and their development. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the analysis of the specialized literature, both Czech and foreign. It deals with the theoretical resources in the area of communication skills, the language levels in the ontogenesis of speech, impaired communication ability and symptomatic speech disorders. It is concerned with physical disability, mainly cerebral palsy and with education of the pupils with physical disability in the Federal Republic of Germany. It also deals with communication of the people with physical disability, forms of impaired communication skills, especially with dysarthria, and specifics of speech therapy. The empirical part of the thesis describes qualitative research that analysed communication skills of pupils with physical disabilities in the federal state Baden-Württemberg and their development. The research methods were the case study, document analysis, interviews with speech therapists and teachers of the pupils, and observation.
