The thesis deals with the use of regional elements in primary school education. The thesis is divided into two parts - the theoretical a practical one. The theoretical part clarifies the concepts of regional elements, characterizes the Framework Educational Programme, the integrated thematic education, region of Olomouc, district of Prostějov - Vrahovice and folklore of region Haná.
