A Linguistic and Translation Analysis of Terminology from the Field of Medicine - Electrocardiology
Abstract:
Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá překladem odborného ruského textu z oblasti medicíny, konkrétně elektrokardiografie. Teoretická část přináší poznatky o odborném funkční stylu, překladatelských transformacích a základech elektrokardiografie. Praktická část představuje samotný překlad textu a následnou lingvistickou a translatologickou analýzu daného lexikálního materiálu.
Abstract:
The focus of the present work is on translating selected Russian medical text on electrocardiography. The teoretical part of the thesis analyses functional style, translatological transformations and basics of electrocardiography. The practical part consists of the translation itself and the subsequent linguistic and translatological analysis of the given lexical material.
