Methods of perceived barriers for people with disabilities in finding employment in the labor market

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá hledáním odpovědi na otázku: Jakým způsobem vnímají bariéry osoby zdravotně postižené hledání zaměstnání na trhu práce? Autorka se specializuje na skupinu osob zdravotně postižených v I. nebo II. invalidním stupni se získaným tělesným postižením, osoby jsou momentálně nezaměstnané a o práci se aktivně ucházejí. V teoretické části jsou vymezené základní pojmy práce, konkrétní pomoc skupině osob se zdravotním postižením na trhu práce a možné bariéry, se kterými se mohou v procesu hledání zaměstnání setkávat. Část se věnuje i vymezení konceptu vnímání. Za pomocí zvolené kvalitativní výzkumné strategie autorka provedla šest polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vyhovujícími respondenty. Pro zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky si autorka zvolila tři dílčí výzkumné otázky, které se zaměřují na oblast požadavků pracovního trhu, zprostředkování a pomoc na trhu práce a kvalitu pracovních míst. Výzkum přináší zjištění, jakým způsobem respondenti vnímají bariéry a tím zhodnocují své šance najít si zaměstnání. Na základě zjištění jsou sestavena doporučení pro oblast sociální práce, která mohou být zdrojem inspirace pro subjekty pomáhající s hledáním práce, respondentům, skupině osob zdravotně postižených a veřejnosti.

Abstract:

The main objective of this thesis is to bring the answers for the question: How the disabled persons perceive barriers during looking for employment in the labor market? The author focuses on the group of persons with disabilities in the I. or II. disability degrees who have acquired disabilities they are unemployed and actively looking for job. In the theoretical part the basic concepts of work, concrete help for a group with disabilities in the labor market and possible barriers that they can meet in the job search process are defined. One part discusses the concept of perception. According to selected qualitative research strategy conducted six interviews with satisfactory respondents. To answer the main research question the author has chosen three sub research questions that focus on the area of labor market demands, mediation and assistance in the labor market and quality of jobs. Research brings determine how respondents perceive barriers and thereby add value to their chances of finding employment. Based on the findings are compiled recommendations for social work, which can be a source of inspiration for organization helping with the search for work, but also for respondents, a group of persons with disabilities and the general public.
